ProximityParks has promoted Tania Fernández to ESG Manager, appointing her to lead the company’s ESG department. Over four years with ProximityParks, Tania has brought both passion and precision to sustainability, a combination that has driven some of the company’s most meaningful milestones, above all leading the approval of ProximityParks’ LEED Volume program, a certification framework that allows to certify multiple properties under a single streamlined process, setting consistent sustainability standards across our entire portfolio.
From Commitment to Certification
Since joining ProximityParks, Tania has been central to embedding sustainability into the company’s operational and development processes. At ProximityParks, sustainability is part of the company’s DNA and a core pillar of We Are Good Neighbors, one of our three foundational values.
Tania’s work has been instrumental in advancing that vision, helping position ProximityParks as the most sustainable last mile industrial real estate portfolio in Mexico, a portfolio now anchored by 17 strategically located last mile industrial parks and over USD 650 million in assets under management.
Leading ESG Into the Next Chapter
As ESG Manager, Tania will lead ProximityParks’ ESG department, driving the strategies that the company’s founders placed at the core of the business from day one. Every investment and project ProximityParks undertakes must be Triple-Net-Positive (NNN+): positive for companies and consumers, positive for cities and the environment, and positive for our investors. It is about rethinking how logistics properties integrate into urban ecosystems, bringing efficiency and order while respecting the urban fabric and neighboring communities. Tania’s appointment reflects the company’s commitment to advancing those principles with rigor, discipline, and a long-term perspective as the portfolio continues to grow.
«Tania’s promotion reflects the seriousness with which we approach ESG at ProximityParks. Integrating ESG strategies has been at the core of every decision we have made, and central to how we create value for our clients, cities, and investors. Our work should reflect the way we want the world to be, and Tania is the right person to lead this effort,» said Jaime Guerrero, COO & Co-Founder of ProximityParks.
