We are delighted to announce the appointment of Azul Argüelles as Chief Financial Officer at ProximityParks. With a distinguished career spanning over two decades, Azul brings extensive and impactful financial expertise to our organization. In her role as CFO, she will spearhead the oversight of our financial operations, play a pivotal role in strategic decision-making, and ensure the responsible growth and financial well-being of the firm and the investment vehicles under our management.

Azul is a seasoned finance executive with an extensive background spanning corporate finance, treasury management, private equity, investor relations, financial planning, taxation, accounting, audit, and compliance. Over the course of her career, Azul has consistently showcased an exceptional proficiency in optimizing processes, implementing automation solutions, and delivering precise financial information and reports crucial for executive decision-making.

Prior to joining ProximityParks, Azul served as Chief Financial Officer at Southlight Capital, where she played a pivotal role in steering the finance and accounting team through a successful integration during the merger with Colony Capital (DigitalBridge). Subsequently, she guided a spin-off, establishing Southlight Capital as an independent private equity firm. Before her tenure at Southlight Capital, Azul demonstrated her financial acumen as Treasurer at Kimberly Clark de Mexico and, preceding that, as the Head of Investor Relations at Grupo Bimbo. In these roles, she exhibited expertise in financial strategy, investment management, and effective stakeholder communication. Azul's extensive experience and proven track record make her a valuable addition to our leadership team.

Azul holds a Public Accounting degree from Universidad Iberoamericana.
